Greetings, and a warm welcome to Tanzania Rewilded. As the Director General, I am deeply honoured to share with you our passion for Tanzania's extraordinary beauty and rich biodiversity.
Having spent over ten years working as a conservation ranger within Tanzania's iconic national parks — particularly the Serengeti and Ruaha — I have witnessed firsthand the delicate balance between wildlife protection and tourism. It is this experience that drives our commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable tourism services that benefit both our guests and the environment.
At Tanzania Rewilded, we believe that a safari or trekking experience should be more than a journey through beautiful landscapes. It should be an opportunity to connect with nature, immerse in local cultures, and contribute positively to the ecosystems and communities we encounter.
Whether you dream of witnessing the Great Migration across the Serengeti, reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, or exploring the remote wilderness of Ruaha and Nyerere, we are here to make that dream a reality.
Karibu Sana. You are most welcome.
Begins his decade as a conservation ranger, serving across Serengeti and Ruaha — protecting wildlife and guiding visitors through Tanzania's most iconic landscapes.
After years on patrol, Emmanuel envisions a safari company that blends deep ranger expertise with responsible tourism — one that empowers local communities and women in the industry.
The company opens in Arusha, grounded in integrity, sustainability, and authentic hospitality. Every itinerary is designed by people who have walked the parks as rangers, not just visitors.
Partnership with an American co-director extends the team across continents. Clients gain a U.S.-based point of contact while keeping all operations Tanzanian-led.
Formal programme to recruit, train, and promote women as guides and trip planners — a commitment central to our founding vision.
A growing team of guides, drivers, and support staff deliver safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs, and cultural journeys — each one designed around responsible, community-first tourism.

We create experiences that connect people to the soul of Tanzania — from the awe-inspiring migrations of the Serengeti to the majestic heights of Kilimanjaro. Every journey is crafted with heart and purpose, designed to inspire wonder, protect the natural world, and uplift local communities. We empower women to thrive in tourism and conservation. We walk lightly. We listen first.

An American who fell in love with Tanzania. Leads U.S. operations and builds the bridge between North American clients and our Arusha team.

Multilingual, passionate conservationists. Storytellers and local experts who carry deep firsthand knowledge of Tanzania's parks and cultures.

From luggage to logistics, our support team ensures every detail runs smoothly — so your journey flows without a single wrinkle.

Our vehicles are not rentals. They are our own — maintained daily, driven only by our own team, and fitted to a specification we have refined over more than a decade of rangering and guiding in these parks. The small things matter: the cooler box that keeps drinks cold in 40°C heat, the power inverter that charges your camera while you drive, the animal reference books within arm's reach when a mystery bird lands on the acacia.
01Game viewingOur custom-raised roof lifts off completely during game drives. Stand up inside the vehicle, 360° unobstructed view, elephants at eye level, elbow room for camera gear.
02ComfortSeven individual seats — not bench seating. Every passenger gets their own space, their own armrest, their own window. No fighting over the middle seat.
03SafetyFull three-point seatbelts for every seat. Mandatory, checked before departure, and routinely inspected. Safari roads can be rough — seatbelts are non-negotiable.
04Long drivesPadded arm rests on every seat for the long drives between parks. Small thing, big comfort difference when you're on the road eight hours from Serengeti to Ngorongoro.
05Self-relianceTwo full-sized spare tyres, a heavy-duty hydraulic jack, puncture kits, and the training to use them. Remote roads mean self-reliance — we prepare for everything.
06Cold drinks12-volt electric cooler box keeps drinks, fruit, and packed lunches cold for the whole day. Cold water after a hot game drive is a small thing that matters enormously.
07SpaceOur Land Cruisers are fitted with extended body shells and broader chassis — more shoulder room, more leg room, more space for camera gear and daypacks between seats.
08In-vehicle libraryEvery vehicle carries a complete library — birds, mammals, trees, reptiles. When something unusual lands on the acacia, you don't lose the moment waiting for wifi.
09Charging220V AC power sockets at every row. Charge cameras, laptops, phones — anything you need — without needing to hunt for outlets at camp or rely on solar.
10VisibilityOversized side windows — wider and taller than standard — drop fully into the doors. Perfect for photography, for feeling the breeze, for never missing a sighting.
11Hot drinksInsulated steel thermos of fresh Tanzanian coffee on every morning game drive. The difference between a 5am cold start and a 5am proper one.
12PreparednessComprehensive first aid kit on every vehicle — refreshed monthly. Plus satellite phone, emergency contacts, AMREF evacuation cover. Hope for calm, plan for everything else.
Every vehicle goes through a full pre-departure inspection the evening before it leaves Arusha. Tyre pressure, brake fluid, coolant, oil, spare tyre, recovery gear, first aid kit, satellite phone — all verified, signed off, and logged.
Every itinerary is shaped by people who have worked as rangers in Tanzania's parks. Not borrowed knowledge — lived knowledge.
We protect what we show you. A portion of every trip contributes to wildlife protection and anti-poaching efforts across the parks we visit.
We hire locally, source locally, and ensure tourism dollars stay in Tanzanian hands — particularly in the communities around the parks.
Central to our founding vision. We recruit, train, and elevate women as guides, planners, and leaders in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
We tell you what's real. If the timing isn't right, we'll say so. If a camp underperforms, we stop using it. Honest, not glossy.
Karibu sana. Warm welcome. The Swahili word for hospitality is lived, not performed — and it's the standard our team holds every day.
Not a booking request. Not a form. A conversation — about what you want to feel, where you want to go, and how we can help.
