Having spent over ten years working as a conservation ranger within Tanzania's iconic national parks — particularly the Serengeti and Ruaha — I have witnessed firsthand the delicate balance between wildlife protection and tourism. It is this experience that drives our commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable tourism services that benefit both our guests and the environment.
At Tanzania Rewilded, we believe that a safari or trekking experience should be more than a journey through beautiful landscapes. It should be an opportunity to connect with nature, immerse in local cultures, and contribute positively to the ecosystems and communities we encounter.

Rose O. Lema is a trained teacher by profession who later joined the tourism industry as a reservationist, supporting safari coordination and guest services. She works alongside her husband, Emmanuel Eusebius Nyundo, founder of Tanzania Rewilded, and together they have two children.
Cynthia Owino is a Kenyan sales and marketing professional dedicated to helping travelers plan unforgettable ranger-led safaris in Tanzania. She is committed to providing excellent customer service and promoting authentic, conservation-focused travel experiences.
Our vehicles are not rentals. They are our own — maintained daily, driven only by our own team, and fitted to a specification we have refined over more than a decade of rangering and guiding in these parks. The small things matter: the cooler box that keeps drinks cold in 40°C heat, the power inverter that charges your camera while you drive, the animal reference books within arm's reach when a mystery bird lands on the acacia.
01Game viewingOur custom-raised roof lifts off completely during game drives. Stand up inside the vehicle, 360° unobstructed view, elephants at eye level, elbow room for camera gear.
02ComfortSeven individual seats — not bench seating. Every passenger gets their own space, their own armrest, their own window. No fighting over the middle seat.
03SafetyFull three-point seatbelts for every seat. Mandatory, checked before departure, and routinely inspected. Safari roads can be rough — seatbelts are non-negotiable.
04Long drivesPadded arm rests on every seat for the long drives between parks. Small thing, big comfort difference when you're on the road eight hours from Serengeti to Ngorongoro.
05Self-relianceTwo full-sized spare tyres, a heavy-duty hydraulic jack, puncture kits, and the training to use them. Remote roads mean self-reliance — we prepare for everything.
06Cold drinks12-volt electric cooler box keeps drinks, fruit, and packed lunches cold for the whole day. Cold water after a hot game drive is a small thing that matters enormously.

Every vehicle goes through a full pre-departure inspection the evening before it leaves Arusha. Tyre pressure, brake fluid, coolant, oil, spare tyre, recovery gear, first aid kit, satellite phone — all verified, signed off, and logged.
