How ThisBegan.

Tanzania Rewilded was not founded as a business. It began as a question — could we build something that treated safari travelers like adults, wildlife like inheritance, and local teams like partners? This is our safari story. It began in the parks of Tanzania National Parks, where our founder worked as a ranger.

Our Safari Story: Thirteen Years, Told Briefly

Every great safari company begins with a story. This is mine—shaped by years of protecting Tanzania’s wilderness before sharing it with the world.
2012

The Journey Begins

Graduated from Pasiansi Wildlife Training Institute with a Diploma in Wildlife Management and joined Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA). My first posting was at Serengeti National Park, where I began my career as a Conservation Ranger, learning wildlife protection, law enforcement, and visitor management in one of Africa’s greatest ecosystems.

2014

Walking The Wild

Transferred to Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest national park. I became a Walking Ranger and Professional Guide, leading visitors on guided walking safaris while developing expertise in wildlife tracking, animal behavior, and conservation management across one of Africa’s last true wilderness areas.

2018

New Frontiers

Moved to Katavi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most remote and untouched wilderness areas. Working in Katavi strengthened my experience in conservation operations, wildlife monitoring, and protecting ecosystems far from the traditional tourist routes.

2019

A New Home

Transferred to Burigi–Chato National Park, where I continue to serve as a Conservation Ranger. Here, I contribute to protecting one of Tanzania’s newest and largest protected landscapes while supporting tourism and conservation initiatives.

2022–2026

Called Back To The Serengeti

Each year from June to October, during the Great Migration high season, I have been deployed back to Serengeti National Park to help manage the dramatic increase in visitor numbers. Supporting tourism operations during the busiest months has further strengthened my experience in guest management, conservation, and world-class safari operations.

Today

Tanzania Rewilded

After more than 13 years serving in Tanzania’s national parks, I founded Tanzania Rewilded with one mission: to offer authentic, ranger-led safaris guided by someone who has spent his career protecting these extraordinary landscapes. Every itinerary is built on firsthand knowledge, conservation experience, and a commitment to delivering meaningful safari experiences while helping preserve Tanzania’s natural heritage for future generations.

Six Principles

Six Things That Don’t Change

Whether you book today or in five years’ time, these stay the same.
01

Ranger-Led Expertise

We know the wild beyond what the eye can see.

Our decisions are guided by firsthand field experience, an understanding of wildlife behavior, and respect for the natural rhythms of Tanzania’s wilderness.

02

Conservation First

Wildlife comes before the experience.

We put the well-being of wildlife and the protection of natural habitats ahead of convenience, close encounters, and photographic opportunities.

03

No Off-Road Driving

The rules of the wild are not ours to break.

We stay on permitted tracks, respect park regulations, and avoid unnecessary disturbance to the landscapes and wildlife we come to admire.

04

Respect Wildlife

We observe nature without controlling it.

We never chase, harass, or pressure animals for a better sighting. Wildlife deserves space to behave naturally, whether we are watching or not.

05

Authentic Wilderness

Nature sets the agenda. We follow its lead.

No staged encounters. No promises of guaranteed sightings. Just honest safari experiences shaped by nature, patience, and the realities of the wild.

06

Purposeful Travel

Every journey should mean something.

We create personalized safari experiences that connect travelers with Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and conservation story, leaving them with a deeper appreciation of the natural world.
